monkeys get together to protect the endangered birds, playing tricks on the Twits. The primary character in this book is perhaps Mr. Twit, for it is he who likes to
trick the birds so they are glued stuck, making it easy for him to get them. The following paper examines the character of Mr. Twit, arguing that he develops into
an angrier individual who learns nothing of importance. He does not change for the better, but he does get what is coming to him. Mr Twit As mentioned,
Mr. Twit is a mean and ugly man. That is his nature and along with his wife it seems that the only things that drives this character is torturing other
beings. His focus in life is to live angrily and to trick birds so he can eat them. When the monkeys and the other birds get together to start playing
tricks on him, alerting the victim birds to his glue plans, he becomes angrier, because he is out to get and kill and eat those birds. In all of
this we see that Mr. Twit is motivated by greed as well as selfishness. He wants the birds and when he cant get them he gets incredibly angry and even
more determined to get them. He is the sort of man who doe not like it when he cannot get what he wants. He thinks he has the right to
possess anything he wants and when something gets in his way he become more and more angry. This makes him greedy and selfish because he wants everything his way, and
