Mintel is a well known market research company. This site was found on the internet undertaking a general search using key words. The Mintel site is set up with the
intention of selling the market research reports. These are classified in both market and country groups. The site has one report "Health and Fitness Clubs Market" for the US. The
report is a purely factual report with no commentary or interpretation. The facts look at the general background of the industry, such as structure, performance and predictions, and also considers
the dominant companies and their performance. This also hwelps to place the industry at the correct position within the lifecycle of the industry. The presentation is purely facts and figures
and as such is a good foundation for any market report. The web site also has the advantage that although the reports require purchase there are summaries displayed which are
