Inc. by K. Von Huben 7/2010 Please Introduction The Seven Years War is more familiarly known to students as the French
and Indian War-or at least that part of it fought in North America goes by that name. This paper is a first-person narration of the social and political conditions in
America at the outbreak of the war, how these diverse conditions led to war, and how the outcome affected the country in general. Discussion The Seven Years War was fought
from 1754-1763, some of it in Europe and some on the American continent. It is often considered to be a precursor to the Revolutionary War. A contemporary American might well
have wondered what was going on, and why a conflict in Europe was spreading to the New World. He might have written something like the following Ive heard about the
war in Europe, and understand that its about who will control Silesia, but Im not sure what that means for us over here. Austria and Prussia have been battling it
out for several years now and I hope theyll keep themselves to themselves. Unfortunately, England and France are also in competition with each other, and that does seem to be
spreading to the Colonies (Kent, 2010). They both seem to want the furs and other trading activities that the new land presents. These endless wars dont make much sense, but
