respond, inducing hope and optimistic or creating worry and depression. The level is also influenced by any pre-existing relationships. For example a family may create conditions under which more psychological
related conditions may be found, with dysfunctional families more likely to be negatively impacted. In addition to this the illness itself may also impact on the family relationships.
With this in mind it become apparent that treatment of a patient may need to take into consideration the family. Where families or close care givers are well informed of
an illness or condition and understand it they are more able to cope with it. For example, if a patient has Alzheimers they can make the required psychological adjustments and
learn the necessary skills to continue communicating and can help reduce the potential behavioural difficulties that may arise with a patient as the condition progresses. Psychological support from the
family will increase the chances of a better or faster recovery for many patients. However, where there is stress in a family caused by the illnesses the may then have
a negative physiological backlash on the patient. For other condition it may be the role of the family and the psychological impact that has helped a conditions develop, either
activity, or passively. Conditions such as Anorexia may be seen as impact by the psychological influences, in the continuation or recovery form the condition. In a recent study there were
