other sitcom moms like June Cleaver and Harriet Nelson but upon reflection realized that Lucy wanted something more out of life than being a housewife (1997). Lucy was quite different
than the typical fifties housewife and while Ricky thought she was scheming or always up to something, she was really seeking employment, running businesses and making volunteer efforts, but always
