perhaps, but without water, human life will die (Tebbutt, 1998). It is because water is such an important natural resource that stable communities are established around its presence (Tebbutt, 1998).
It is also because water is so precious that there have been many conflicts over the substance in different parts of the world (Tebbutt, 1998). Other conflicts arise over water
due to the fact that humans have an effect on the environment (Tebbutt, 1998). This is very true today when water pollution and regulation in its regard is a serious
issue. Water invades daily life in numerous ways which is why it has been integral to the development of social life and civilization. Human life has always been attached to
resources found in nature such as water (De Vries & Goudsblom, 2002). As man evolved, social organization would become more and more complicated and cultural and social structures would leave
a mark on the human condition (De Vries & Goudsblom, 2002). Life chances would come to depend upon social stratification (De Vries & Goudsblom, 2002). While many see that water
is something very necessary and desirable, water poses problems as well. For example, some populations early on were vulnerable to rising water levels (De Vries & Goudsblom, 2002). Even in
todays period of time, people who live near coastal areas risk death unless they heed the advice to evacuate during times of crises. When it comes to the hunter
