We cannot deny the power and influence of the Internet, globalization and ever-diminishing borders, but these changes that have developed so rapidly are not without their repercussions.
We cannot deny a relationship between globalization and racism, and todays world provides a plethora of evidence in this regard. While globalization
is perhaps on the surface responsible for the advancement of many societies and countries, we must also acknowledge the consequences of this growth and advancement. Nothing comes without a
cost, and in this regard globalization is no different, although those profiting from its perpetuation would prefer to think otherwise, at the expense of a great many people, cultures, communities,
states, and nations. Namely, in the wake of globalization have come a number of racism issues, and these issues have
not only significant immediate consequences but are potential hotbeds of both political and social crisis in the coming years. We have witnessed firsthand political and social ramifications of globalization
such as the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. Many argue those events to be the direct result of globalization, and the resulting racial issues that necessarily accompany
such changes. These issues are critical to our families, our country and our world. As technology continues to change
