stolen unfinished gems belonging to said jewelers establishment. In the course of leaving the scene of this crime, Mr. Monday arrived at his vehicle, which was parked on Lincolnway,
only to find that said vehicle would not start, leaving him afoot at the crime scene. Monday then proceeded to walk down Lincolnway, presumably to find another means by
which to exit the scene. Also parked on Lincolnway was a 1963 Corvette owned and driven by George H.W. Shrub. At the time Mr. Monday first caught sight of
Mr. Shrub, Shrub was exiting the parked vehicle. Mr. Monday produced a revolver that he used to threaten Mr. Shrub into giving him the keys to the Corvette.
Mr. Shrub, although, reluctant, surrendered the keys to the parked car and inquired as to whether Mr. Monday was experienced in driving a standard shift transmission such as the one
present in the 1963 Corvette. When Mr. Monday replied in the negative, Mr. Shrub, expressing concern for the fate of the Corvette, offered to drive Mr. Monday to his
designation. Mr. Monday agreed, but after a short distance ordered Mr. Shrub to exit the vehicle and proceeded alone in the Corvette. After Mr. Monday had assumed what
was presumed to be the lone occupancy of the vehicle, George W. Shrub, son of George H.W. Shrub made his presence in the back seat of the vehicle known.
The younger George Shrub had hidden himself beneath a blanket and his presence was until that time not known by either Mr. Monday or the older George Shrub. This case
