are both liberal and conservative views spouted by media, there should be a neutral effect. Of course, the effect depends upon who one talks to. Fox News for example
claims that it is "fair and balanced" but it seems that the hosts are salivating for a George Bush exclusive. Those who admit that Fox is slanted suggest that the
entire media goes to the left and Fox just balances things out. Although one can debate the merits of each argument--media is conservative versus media is liberal--there will likely be
no definitive answer. Yet, the debate itself elicits much fodder for discussion. When talking about media bias, what are the ramifications and the problems? Obviously, there is bias in the
media and whether the preponderance is one way or another is irrelevant. It seems that there is difficulty in securing an objective media reality. The loss of journalism as the
last objective front is somewhat troubling. It seems that in the old days true journalists tried to remain unbiased. If they did have strong political views they not only would
keep those to themselves, but they made sure that it did not impact their profession. They would have to remain unbiased just as a juror is instructed. Today, it seems
that the bias is obvious. What does this have to do with the domestic process? Some are not worried and believe the truth will just come out in the end.
