following paper examines the invention and the influence of the printing press in Europe. The Printing Press "In the Mid-15th Century, things begin to change with the advent
of the printing press. In 1452, Gutenberg conceives of the idea for movable type" (Manuscripts, Books, and Maps: The Printing Press and a Changing World: The Development of Print Technology,
2008). He brought together oil based ink, a wine press for printing books, and paper in order to make the printing press and thus changed the world (Manuscripts, Books, and
Maps: The Printing Press and a Changing World: The Development of Print Technology, 2008). However, like many inventions throughout time, "The printing press is not a single invention" rather "it

With the invention of this printing press the culture and society of Europe was forever changed, although many people may not truly understand how the simple printing of paper could
