States goes back historically to the very first president ("President Bushs Cabinet," 2007). The purpose of the cabinet in general is that there exist people available to advise the
president on certain subjects; the cabinet consists of fifteen heads of departments, in addition to the Vice President ("President Bushs Cabinet," 2007). Also, to supplement the fifteen cabinet members, and
the Vice President, there are five other positions that are ranked at the cabinet level and they include the White House Chief of Staff, the United States Trade Representative, the
head of Office of National Drug Control Policy, the Environmental Protection Agency head, and the head of the Office of Management and Budget ("President Bushs Cabinet," 2007). Secretary Mike Johanns
is the head of the Department of Agriculture ("President Bushs Cabinet," 2007). Johanns himself is a lawyer and politician but he grew up on a farm and has "strong agricultural
