executive and the US has a presidential executive. These are two very different institutions, with different characteristics. The main difference can be seen in the way that the leader
is elected. Under the US constitution and electrical collage there is a system that elects the president as an individual, the president may be from a minority party due to
the system. This is more complex that the parliamentary system in the UK. In this there is a single vote system, the Prime Minister will be the leader of
winning party. In a first past the post, this means that the party with the most seats in the house of commons wins. The Prime Minister is then asked by
the monarch to form a government, The lack of need for personal vote was seen when Margaret Thatcher lost the leadership Battle for the leadership went to John Major, who
became Prime Minister without the need for another election, the position was automatic as the leader of the majority party. This is the core difference between the two system, with
most differences flowing out from this central difference. The presidential executive has the president that is independent of the national legislature, and they are not able to exercise power
over each other to terminate the office. This is a true separation of the powers. The terms of power are preset. The president is the head of the government, and
makes use of a cabinet. The cabinet is chosen by the president , and is only answerable to the president and not to the government assembly. The main focus of
