It has limitless possibilities in regard both to information access and entertainment. Like most things in life, however, the World Wide Web has both positive aspects and negative aspects. This is particularly true in regard to its potential impact on children. The Web can, in some instances, be a perilous place. The Web can in fact be a place which can endanger the welfare of our children, expose them to inappropriate materials, and ultimately produce a devastating effect on their psychological development. The result can be maladjustment as to societal norms and mores and even outward behavior such as violence. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
