2006. In terms of efficiency measures such as return on assets and return on equity may be assessed, the return on assets
is 5.56% compared to 6.73% ion 2006. The return on equity in 2007 was 7.06% compared to 8.48% in 2006. 1.2 Market Share Yahoo is the number two search
engine provider, but their position is deteriorating. In the US in January of 2007 Yahoo! had a 20.7% share of the , by January 2008 this had reduced to 19%.
Bu feburary there was an even bigger falls as Yahoo! market share fell to 17.6%, they are used less frequently and for less searched compared to Google, and for
