that people came to the New World for a variety of reasons and various people had diverse impact on the development of the New World. There were numerous reasons that
the English sought new lands, explored, and colonized the New World. There were many different people, different religious people, who colonized the land, and the role of the African American
in the history of the New World and the colonies was very diverse. The following paper examines these different concerns as they involve the New World and the colonies.
The New World 1. The fundamental factors drew Europeans to exploration, conquest, and settlement of the New World? Europe, and primarily England,
was experiencing many different difficulties when the New World was ultimately explored by the Europeans. Although the New World had been explored and discovered previously, by the Vikings, there seemed
to be little desire to further explore for at least a few more centuries in that particular region of the world. In many ways the Europeans simply sought to
explore in order to make financial and social gains. In relationship to the New World and financial possibilities some of the very first explorers came in the hopes, and expectations,
that gold could be found. However, this was not ultimately why the New World was colonized, especially in light of the fact that gold was never really found in the
New World when colonizers arrived. For the most part there was the problem of overpopulation in Europe for many people and there was
the strained condition of religious freedom, or lack thereof, in Europe, primarily England. In short, there were many domestic, social, problems in Europe and the news of the New Land
