it involves violence and language, we present the following examination, or summary, of various articles which address the multitude of perspectives concerning this topic. Television violence and children.
Bernard Cesarone. This article presents several documents and articles which discuss television violence and children "Some of these articles examined the impact of television violence on children, such as
its influence on adolescent development," such as how "The results show that the portrayal of violence on television likely contributes to the learning of aggression, across all genres and channels
(i.e., network, cable, public). Furthermore, despite all the public attention given to the issue, televisions portrayal of violence did not change during the three years of the study" (Cesarone, 1998;
p. 56). Another suggested that "physically disciplined children who watch violent television may be at greater risk for aggression at school than those who watch less violent television, that physically
disciplined children are at risk for aggression at school regardless of how much television they watch, and that children who watch a lot of television are at greater risk for

discuss the effects and the impact of violence in television, as it relates to children, it does present us with the reality that violence and such are harmful to children
and therefor must be monitored. It clearly indicates this in relationship to the fact that violence, language, and other elements of television are considered harmful, and should therefor be regulated.
