treatment of the Jews around the world, and particularly after Hitlers wrath, the state of Israel would be a place for Jews to live in peace, or at least that
was the idea. In fact, the idea of Zionism was born, and while Britain gladly gave up its claim to the land, not everyone was happy about the deal.
In essence, the emergence of Israel in the Middle East upset the balance of power in the region, and it particularly irked the Palestinians who claimed that the land was
really theirs. Still, Israel would be recognized by the rest of the world, and after some battles in the early years, the United Nations would step in and all
would be fine. At least, that is what everyone thought, but the fighting would never cease and it still goes on today, mostly in the form of terrorist bombings. Enter
the Mossad. The Mossad, as it is called now is the secret branch of the government somewhat like the U.S. Secret Service. It is a clandestine organization that is legendary.
There are many heroic stories to tell, and while recently, the Mossad has had some problems, its long history gives it the reputation of having state of the art equipment
