Essay / Research Paper Abstract
4 pages in length. The moral Jewish value of "Love They Neighbor Like Thyself" reflects the same fundamental principles as the Golden Rule's mantra of "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You," which obliges respect for and appreciation of family, friends, community and the world as a whole. To illustrate this concept, the writer tells the story of a community that rallies around a family that lost everything in a house fire. No bibliography.
