books on the shelves like ?When Bad Things Happen To Good People.? Life can feel like an uphill battle; every time you think you?re going to get ahead in some
way, something else happens. I personally believe that we make our own choices: we can choose to look at the positive side
or we can choose to view the negative side. No matter what event occurs, we can consciously make a decision that we will learn from this, and we will become
better, stronger persons as a result. Or, we can choose to bemoan all the obstacles and whine and cry about how terrible life is. We can even extend our negative
outlook by blaming someone or something else, thus we will remaining in a ?status quo? personality and spirit all our life, never growing. If we choose the negative, we will
grow old more quickly and we will have very little fun. Life requires an enormous amount of faith. Faith that will prevail.
Faith that says no matter what is placed before us, we will conquer it and become more complete persons. This was Camus? point.
