for change, as they help explain what is going on in an organization, how it is happening in the way which it may be influenced. Two interesting models on the
7 Ss framework, this is usually attributed to McKinsey, but is also identical to the model of Waterman, and the Harvard Model. In order to assess which of these models
would be best suited for use in an organization which is preparing for change each of the models needs to be considered individually. The change which is being undertaken at
the BBC can be seen as a major organizational cultural change, and as such careful management may benefit from identifying the most appropriate models for use in preparation for change.
McKenseys 7 Ss module looks at the organization as and holistic Hall, under describes seven factors or categories that can be utilized when considering the management of an organization. Although
this is presented as human resource management model, it may also be seen as a general management module, when looking at human issues within an organization (Rasiel and Frigam 2001).
The 7 factors identified are shared values, strategy, structure, systems, staff, style and skills. When using this mode it is argued or the different is identified should be considered together,
