done much in her lifetime. The details of her life, the inventions she came up with, and the controversies surrounding her success will be included, but just as important, a
thoughtful analysis of events will be a part of the paper. The paper will conclude with an analysis of her contributions. Sources utilized will be a book written by her
great granddaughter ALelia Bundles who provides an objective and thoughtful evaluation of Madam Walker. Also used will be magazine articles which talk about the controversies as well as her successes.
