the Bush plan had been to create a war on any nation that has terror in its midst. This was the reaction to the horrendous attack on U.S. soil in
2001. Nations that support terrorism either directly or inadvertently would feel the wrath of U.S. forces. After September 11, 2001, George W. Bush would announce to the world that the
people who took down the buildings would be hearing "us" soon. By "us," George W. meant that the people in countries that harbor terrorists would see and hear U.S. soldiers
invade. They would hear the marching of soldiers on their turf. He made good on that promise. The war in Afghanistan, and later Iraq which turned into a nation
building project, seems to have made some headway, but many argue that the war in Iraq is not a legal war. Further, it really has nothing to do with 9/11.
In an examination of The War and Declaration of Human Rights, Nuremburg Principles, and the United Nations Charter, it appears that in fact, the war in Iraq is
not only uncalled for, it may be illegal. There are so many inconsistencies as it respects the words of the administration, that it is hard to know exactly what occurred.
