incredibly influential in the nation but it is a group that does have some influence, especially in the South and in pockets of the nation that are lost and in
need of some direction for their anger. The following paper examines the KKK today as a powerful organization that does have influence and how their influence is largely based on
fear. The KKK Today Today, perhaps more than any other time in history, is a time when the KKK has some sort of cause to focus upon. While
they have long held onto issues such as immigration and other elements of society that involve minorities in the United States, today the issue involves the fact that a man
who is partially African American has been elected as the President of the United States. While the race for President of the United States seemed to avoid, purposefully, racial
issues as a powerful fact of the race, race was still a very important issue. It is interesting to note that on election night there were many broadcasters who were
claiming that people were voting and claiming that their voting choice had nothing to do with race. The truth is that race did mean something. Racial tensions and racial problems
exist in the United States and to have so many people claim that race did not play a factor is to ultimately deny the truth. It is simply a fact
because whether people like it or not they have racial ideas and ideals. People are afraid of things they do not understand. Many people may not have close relationships
