Enquirer to sources that are seemingly credible, such as scientific literature. To reiterate this long-standing puzzle, President John F. Kennedy was purportedly shot by Lee Harvey Oswald and there was
much evidence to attest to this. However, many theories began to erupt that suggested that either Oswald was not working alone, or that he did not actually kill President Kennedy
at all. Some of the evidence that a conspiracy was a reality come in the form of facts that highlight unusual circumstances that seem more than coincidence. Mary Pinochet Meyer
was purportedly one of Kennedys secret lovers and there is documented proof that she visited the president on seventeen separate evenings (Gross PG). The affair came about during the Cold
War and according to a book, Meyer happened to be with Kennedy on the night he went on television to warn the people about the Cuban Missile Crisis (PG). John
F. Kennedy was assassinated. Less than a year after the presidents murder, Meyer was also shot to death (PG). Her murder also coincided with the publication of the Warren Commission
Report (PG). Additionally, she was an ex-spouse to an important CIA man (PG). Meyers possible involvement with Kennedy is just the tip of the iceberg. Yes, it is possible
that she got too close to the truth and got herself killed. It is possible that her influence had gotten the president killed. But there are many other theories. There
are alleged mob ties and other affairs. Marilyn Monroes death looked suspicious too. Historians have long speculated about ties between JFK and organized crime (Thomas and Hosenball 36). Also,
in 1991, Oliver Stone based his film "JFK" on the only assassination theory ever tested in court; it was quickly rejected by a jury in less than an hours time
