World that was "discovered" by Christopher Columbus and say the same thing. It really belongs to the Indians because they were there first. In fact, there are little Indian nations
within the midst of the U.S. and this situation is tolerated by the Indians as well as by the U.S. citizens. At the same time, the Indians are really not
happy with the bit of land and their legacy they acquired after their property was seized. Still, the takeover is accepted. The question in respect to the Middle East is
whether or not Israel had done the same thing. The only problem in the Middle East that makes things different is the biblical veil that envelopes the state. It adds
mystery and a new dimension to the problem. In some ways, the Middle East dilemma is more important as it goes to religion and Gods will. At the same time,
this added component makes the problem somewhat ridiculous, and irreconcilable, in todays secular world. It is with international relations theories that this dilemma may be analyzed and perhaps resolved. Yet,
it remains a source of tension in the world today and the outlook appears bleak. Some who believe that the land belongs to the Palestinians call Israels control of
the land an occupation. This of course implies that the Israelis are seizing land that is not rightfully theirs. For some, the term "occupation" describes Israels control of the Gaza
