information and the system that retrieves the data is usually known as the database management system (DBMS). The database will usually have
been developed with a specific purpose in place usually there will be a schema, or a description of the objects that are held in the database, there will also be
the modeling which is the way the objects are held in terms of database structure. It is useless holding and collecting all of the data unless there is a way
to gain benefit from then data; this is the motivation behind the development of database management systems. In the retail market it is important for a firm to have
