intelligence can take over. Who will win? But Brown (2006) talks about reality, not science fiction. He claims that robots are taking over, referencing things such as robotic vacuum cleaners
and teddy bears that keep an eye on the kids (Brown, 2006). These observations are accurate. Many are familiar with Roomba and other new innovations to help care for the
home. They are familiar with the hidden cameras too. People in fact complain that "Big Brother is watching" but they marvel at the complexity with which these new innovations are
being administered. Indeed, people can see the entire world by using Google World. There are satellites recording information at any given time seemingly everywhere. It does seem to be a
brave new world. As Brown (2006) continues with this writing, he looks at a great many contributions of robots. Is this a good or bad thing for humanity? The answer
is not crystal clear. There are answers on both sides of the issue. The author remarks: " The robotic era may also force us to rethink our tendency to measure
peoples value solely in terms of their economic contributions" (Brown, 2006, p.50). Clearly, human beings have evolved because of technology to a point where they no longer need to do
things. They can instead purchase items with their wealth. This is certainly a transition from the old days. Even centuries ago, the wealthy would have to do some things for
