is that good writing skills are all but essential to any endeavor that involves critical thinking. With that in mind the following paper presents some articles and points that illustrate
how important writing skills are in any field of employment, and thus presents the student with ideas for further refining and argument to an employer about the importance of developing
good writing skills in employees through a workshop. Writing Many people today associate poor writing skills with the education system and children, but those conditions apply equally to
adults in the workforce. For example, "Some stuffy grownups believe kids cant write because of e-mail -- the abbreviations and shorthand that are used in dashing off messages through the
Internet" (United Press International 1008181w6815). There is also the problem of text messaging that is part of the technological world of children and adults. In addition "theres always television and
video games to accuse" (United Press International 1008181w6815). These are realities that do not merely apply to children, but adults as well. They are realities, daily activities, that truly hinder
how people communicate in verbal language and the written language. As such it becomes obvious that adults in any profession may well lose any writing skills they had, making them
less effective at offering proposals or merely interacting with coworkers in a productive manner. In truth, in order to present ourselves as intelligent and worthwhile business individuals we must be
able to express ourselves well in the written word, thus implying a sense of stability and intelligence that suggests the company, whatever company, is strong and reliable. One professor
