editors who say to place the most relevant information above the fold (Robbins, 2003). That is, the headline is placed in a conspicuous area and when the newspaper is folded,
it can still be seen (Robbins, 2003). What does this have to do with web sites when the computer is never folded? Robbins (2003) explains: "Web designers have adopted the
term above the fold, to refer to the first screenful of a web page" (p. 43). One would pay attention to aesthetics throughout the web site, but it is
the home page that should receive the most attention in terms of design. Again, when people are surfing the net, they will visit the most pleasing site. Next, navigability seems
to be key to retaining consumer interest. Of course, it is important to represent the sites purpose fairly. One opinion is as follows: "Good design allows you to connect to
your target audience without them even realizing, but this seamless connection is not just about the graphical impact. The essence of good web site design is to deliver your business
