may seem superfluous, society has always been entrenched in art, viewed it as important and viewed cleanliness as high on the totem pole of desires, not simply for the eyes
sake, but also for ones health. The thesis of this paper is that aesthetics and cleanliness are inextricable and contingent on preventative measures. Thus, a sustainable society must encompass an
umbrella of plans that includes a future with both exemplary living conditions and a place that looks nice, but it must be done in unison with corporate and local endeavors.
In other words, one cannot deal with the end result efficiently unless the problem of excess garbage is addressed in a holistic manner. With this in mind, the problem
must be looked at through several vantage points, one being the importance of beauty in society. The importance of aesthetics is sometimes underrated but studies have shown that colors do
enhance ones health, and a persons surroundings, how they make their home and keep it, are reflective of an individuals well being. Similarly, a society will want to keep their
surroundings clean, and nice to view, in order to foster growth and sustenance. In order to create a healthy, pretty world, steps need to be taken. Further, attitude is
paramount to success in such an endeavor as well as cooperation from businesses and residents. Petrzelka, et. al. conducted a study using farmers to find out differences of ideologies
of sustainable farmers and conventional farmers. Studies suggest that these two groups have different beliefs, values, and attitudes about agriculture and rural life as well (Petrzelka 38). It is thought
