entertainment hub including a shopping mall, a multi-screen theatre, caf? and sports facilities. This is the largest project that FTI have ever undertaken, it will take a large level of
resources and careful planning. Projects of this nature are heavily reliant on the initial planning estimates if the implementation is to be successful. The design is not yet complete, and
this will be undertaken between ATI and the Atoll Solutions design team. Friar Tuckers Strategy The plan to build the Galleria may be seen as part of a much
larger strategy. FTI has stated that they have the vision of being "among the top 10 hospitality service providers in the family entertainment business". The company is already working
towards this goal with a number of existing outlets and a current workforce of 1,200 employees. With a number of interests in different
areas of hospitality industry and a desire to expand and grow the FTI chief executive; Richard Bellini, had been looking for suitable projects to use to implement our growth strategy.
This has been achieved with the establishment of a Project Selection Committee (PSC) given the task of deciding the type of projects that FTI should examined. Five projects have been
presented for evaluation, these which are then reduced to three projects; Braithwaite Greens, Kalimpong and Gallaria. Galleria was chosen as it had the best fit with the company strategic plans.
