a house, or planning for retirement. It is important for a woman to remember to not willingly give up their rights, especially if child custody is involved, since a womans
financial situation will impact children as well. It is cautioned to not assume that an attorney can guarantees financial protection. In the emotional turmoil of divorce, one seldom
thinks of consulting a financial planner to assess the real value of assets, and tax consequences. A fifty/fifty chance? According to Corcoran (1999), the divorce rate in the
