Source" is a book that brings physics to a more simplistic level, without the use of mathematics and formulas, and essentially introduces the reader to the most basis aspects of
physics while also discussing how the universe creatively exists. In this respect it is a book that not only talks about physics, but philosophy and also a bit of esoteric
discussion, and thus helps the readers develop a better understanding of the relationship between existence and science. The following paper presents a summary/report of the book. The Hidden
Domain In the preface to his work Friedman states that he understands how some people without a scientific education may have some trouble
with portions of the book, and he suggests they essentially skim difficult chapters but still continue and that in doing so they will be "rewarded with some satisfying insights into
the nature of reality" (Friedman, 1997; xii). For those who are scientifically education and those that are not, this book is essentially presented as a work that will generally enlighten
any reader according to Friedman. The book moves on to Part I which is comprised of a general background less on physics.
In this section Friedman discusses the important physics figures in history and what their particular discoveries taught us. He talks of Newton and he speaks of two important theories; quantum
theory and relativity theory. In laying this overall foundation he allows many people without backgrounds in science of physics to understand the basics of physics without understanding formulas and math.
And, for those who are educated somewhat in physics such a section simply seems to bring together many different elements into a simplistic cohesive whole that is easier to work
