in the field, there are many applications yet to be explored. In fact, one can say that perhaps graph theory as used in computer science is in its infancy. Who
will benefit from the application of graph theory in the future? The answer is that to some extent everyone will benefit. It will open doors for computer scientists which will
help to change life for the average person. The ramifications will likely be significant but are hard to pin down. One example is that people can expect fancier networks in
the years to come as a result of the application of the mathematical principle. Beyond that, much depends on the development of other aspects in computer technology. In exploring how
graph theory will affect computer science in the future, it is important to understand the concept. First, what is graph theory? Graph Theory is a branch of mathematics that supports
the notion that a graph has no relation to graphs that chart data ("Graph," 2003). Rather, in Graph Theory, a graph consists of a collection of dots that
may or may not be connected to one another with the use of lines (2003). The size of the dots is irrelevant nor is it important as to how
long the lines are (2003). This idea is contrary to most other forms of mathematics such as what is found in geometry. What does matter however is "which dots
are connected by which lines" (2003, p.PG). One important rule is that one dot can be connected by only one line (2003). In looking at graph theory one has to
