are the alternatives? A student writing on this subject asks: "How does a company survive the tumultuous storm of a weakened economy? The bigger question is, how does a
U.S. worker survive when their job is being "exported" to another country or given to a foreign worker here in the U.S.? " These are important questions that often come
about during Presidential election years. Indeed, during the 1990s, candidates like Pat Buchanan and Ross Perot were adamant about keeping jobs in the United States. It is certainly a concern.
What should the people do? The answer that most give, and what the fictitious President Bartlett suggested, is that the U.S. has to adapt. It is a novel approach but
