manipulative. The world was manipulated into thinking that that there was nothing going on in Germany, and slowly but surely the truth was revealed. According to a student, much of
the success in terms of the Nazi Final solution had been hinged upon propaganda, deception, and timing and those in charge manipulated not only the victims, bystanders, allied powers, and
their own men, but other nations who harbored Nazis. In effect, this point of view suggests that Hitler and his Nazi party turned others into cold blooded killers. In general,
these actions that revolve around the Holocaust are viewed as something contrived where those in power manipulated the masses and the masses therefore have little responsibility in their terms of
their roles. Hitlers legacy is rather well known concerning his plans for a master race. In Germany, of course, the Nazis were in power for quite awhile. They
were in fact in control of Germany from the early thirties through the end of the war (Hirsch, Kett & Trefil, 1988). It was essentially a fascist party which
required devotion to the German government or the Third Reich (1988). They desired to form a master race that would eventually rule the world (1988). The Nazis, after rounding
up Jews and other groups they considered to be inferior, employed what was called the "Final Solution." They in fact also rounded up and executed Communists (1988). Obviously, the executions
were not limited to Jews, but the majority were Jewish. Goldhagen (1997) says: "The hierarchy of humanity also suggests the singular position occupied by the Jews in Germans imaginations. Jews
