Essay / Research Paper Abstract
This 8 page paper briefly explains the theory of creation and the theory of evolution. The writer then argues there are numerous fallacies in the theory of evolution that evolutionists cannot explain. The invalidity of the theory of evolution is indicated by using scientific theories. For instance, the Theory of Causality says that 'whatever begins to exist had a cause.' This theory alone disproves the Big Bang theory. Other scientific arguments are used against evolution. the origin of any species occurs through a process of natural selection and the survival of the strongest (Wasmann, 1909). At the heart of the creation versus evolution conflict is
how it all began. Evolutionists argue the universe was born through a collision of molecules and atoms, this is the Big Bang theory. Creationists believe that God created everything. The
heated debate between evolutionists and creationists has to do with the origin of man (Wells, 1996). According to Darwins theory, all forms of life, plants, animals, evolved over millions of
years from primitive life forms, survival was dependent upon adaptation (Wells, 1996). Only the strongest and fittest survived and as they did, they slowly evolved into more complex forms of
life (Wells, 1996). Creationists, on the other hand, believe that God created everything and He did so in six days (Wells, 1996). There is a problem with that interpretation because
six days to todays human may not necessarily be the same time span as we understand it. Gods six days may well have been thousands or millions of years. The
accounts of time in the Bible cannot be interpreted literally (Wells, 1996). Still, Darwin promoted that God created simple organisms and then, left them to evolve on their own (Wells,
1996). Georges Lemaitre, who was a Belgian Jesuit, was the first scientist to provided "scientific and mathematical proof that the universe had a distinct beginning" (Christian History Institute, 2002). Based
on Einsteins own equations, Lemaitre demonstrated that the earth was expanding, something Einstein did not want to believe (Christian History Institute, 2002). Lemaitre based his conclusions on Einsteins formulas and
today, most scientists agree with the Bibles account of origin - there was a beginning and there will be an end (Christian History Institute, 2002). There are numerous fallacies in
