good thing, there are drawbacks. That is, while DNA evidence is not conclusive, many jurors believe it is. Koehler (2001) reports on a study suggesting that the way in which
evidence is presented to the jury does affect the outcome. This is important. It is not so much the precise technology that has been developed that is important, but the
way that its relevance is communicated. DNA evidence is not the end all and be all of technology, but some people honor it as something that is absolutely perfect, and
no science is perfect. People do embrace technology in different ways (Oskamp & Scapapan, 1990). This is important. Habermas (1979) for example sees communication as something that has evolved in

cloned beings that some provisional yet still well grounded assumptions can be made" (p.132). The idea that people can talk about cloning matter of factly takes man one step closer
to a new world. Cloning used to be something aligned with science fiction. Today, it is dinner conversation. Technology has had a significant effect on the social psychology of society.
