Essay / Research Paper Abstract
This 16 page paper considers the different ways that these two applications are tested and argues that the culture of application software testing for non internet applications is much harsher and exacting than the testing that occurs in a medium where there is a culture of evolution and change, and the medium allows for changes to be made more simply. be able to complete the task for which it was purchased without any further need upgrading as soon as it has been brought or for a need for programmers to
develop the programme further. When we consider Internet applications we can argue that these should be seen to be developed at the same
standard. However, in many cases this is not the reality of the situation. The applications are more likely to be custom developed and seen as dynamic, requiring change. This perception
of change requirements means that the application associated with the web or the internet a different development framework, and is often not as ruinously tested as the more static
type of programming that is seen in bespoke programmes. Many of the internet applications are undertaken in a different manner, if they are not commercial bought programmes they may be
seen as non commercial programmes, such as many of the shareware programmes that started out as individuals hobbies (for example mIRC and ICQ began this way), or they maybe distributed
free of charge, gaining revenue in different ways. If we consider the way programmes are used and developed in terms of the Internet and non-internet uses then we will see
a great difference in the way they are tested an monitored. The development of differing cultures for Internet and non Internet applications
We can consider this by looking at the way that the Internet developed as an evolutionary tool rather than once strictly designed. It is this type of development that
we see still mar some of the ideas behind the development of web applications. If we understand the beginning of the Internet we can see how this may have impacted
