document told the world of Americas intent to be free from Britains control. Americans were weary of laws and policies being imposed on them by Britain. Instead of
reacting as one group or another had reacted throughout history in such situations, a common-minded group of key players gathered to write their objections down on paper. Among the
objections were what were termed "self evident truths". These were "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". This one document marked a turning point in American relations not
just with Britain but with the world in general. Its underpinnings ultimately spread to encourage numerous other countries to follow similar paths and it ultimately resulted in the United
States taking her place as a world leader. In that infamous documents that our countrys founder would deliver to the King of England
they declared: "The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute
Tyranny over these States". Our founders listed each of the perceived injustices in this earth shattering document. The Declaration of Independences blatant account of the injustices that were
perceived and its writers presumptuous statement of intent to seek independence collectively result in a document was unprecedented in world history! Interestingly, the
beliefs and philosophies that underpinned the Declaration of Independence (and which ultimately would disseminate to the world as a result of that document and the manner that it had been
