Notes: Drug Abuse in the United States has been a problem for some time. While there are harsh laws in some jurisdictions, other states are not quite as effective
or interested in combating drug addiction. The city of Miami is well known for drug trafficking and its creation of drug court. In fact, Pyle (2002) reports that many drug
dealers drive through Miami on a regular basis. The 1980s show Miami Vice put the city on the map. Today, things are different than they were in the eighties, and
