at best will be uniformed and base their decision only on information that has been received. The communication can take place in a range of mediums, but for the
communication profession these are likely to consist of model of single communisations aimed at transmitting a message to a larger number of recipients. The only differences that may be faced
by a communications profession located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) compared to other communications professional will be the culture in which this takes place and then need to adapt
and work within this culture. This culture may be more progressive than some as seen with the freedom of speech rights enshrined in the constitution. The culture may also be
more restrictive in what can be communicated and how. Not only on the legal side such as criminalising criticism of the government or ruling family, but also in terms of
the social culture of a Muslim country such as the way in which messages and images of women may be presented and the message still communicated effectively. The communication
professional may be working in a variety of jobs. They may be in marketing, in journalism or working in public relations. In all cases there may also be a range
of media, not only the traditional newspapers and television, but also posters and the internet. The professional will usually be under a contract of employment, but may also work voluntarily
for a non profit making organisation, in order to communicate a message to t a target audience. The employer may have already determined the target audience, but this may be
