of all surgeries would result in the vastly decreased opportunity for physicians to use libel as a means of avoiding a malpractice suit.
The fact is that technology is invading operating rooms in a myriad of ways, ranging from robots that perform surgeries to laparoscopic procedures that minimize incisions and greatly reduce the
incidence of post-surgical infection (Weir, 2004). It therefore stands to reason that including cameras in the operating room would be not only technologically possible and appropriate, but legally advantageous
