Sterns entry ("Stern Boosts Sirius Site Traffic," 2006). Howard Stern after all is an icon in society today and is quite an unusual character. First, who is Howard Stern and
why is he so popular? He is actually not in the spotlight very much anymore. This native New Yorker has a long history of pushing the envelope, testing the limits
of decency and the limits of his employers patience. Many are familiar with his television shows and radio broadcasts. Although he has made many enemies due to the content of
his shows, he has developed a loyal following. Some do not even appreciate his humor but like the fact that he tests the FCC. Certainly, free speech advocates seem to
support him and even he ACLU would come to his aid. The idea that Howard Stern could come close--but not too close--to naked women on his television show, might have
created the impression that this was just an act after all. He would say things that any other husband could not get away with, and it was okay, because it
was all an act. His integrity and sense of honesty was intact, because he could look and not touch, even if he was standing just an inch away. Of course,
