every country there are different tax strategies, laws and political considerations. If one is going into business in a politically volatile climate for example, that can be a very poor
place to conduct business. Why? Even if the tax climate is wonderful and everything is great as far as profitability is concerned, if a civil war breaks out, or there
is a coup de etat, the business is at risk. Hence, when doing business in any nation, politics must be considered. Once the political climate is established, and it is
acceptable, then issues pertinent to profitability become important. Overhead is of course an important consideration. How much it costs to do businesses is significant and taxation also plays a role.
When setting up shop, one will want to know whether or not there are tax advantages. One will also want to know whether or not employees make a lot of
money or just a little, and even the cost of electricity may play a role in the decision. The bottom line will be tied to many of these factors. While
it may appear on the surface that doing business abroad is risky, there are substantial benefits. In nations where land is inexpensive, and the cost of living is lower, labor
will be cheaper. If taxes are low too this can mean a significant profit incentive to do business in such a country. II. Case Study
