Hinduism, the major religion of India unique among world religions in its tolerance of diversity, follows the guidance of the Bhagavad Gita by espousing that every action - good or
bad - is answered for by a more powerful source than mere mortals can comprehend; however, this is not to say that such a prophecy precludes the need for mortal
forgiveness when unethical actions have occurred. Where one ends up after leaving this life, according to the Bhagavad Gita is determined by karma, the single-most component of unethical behavior.
