this paper properly! Introduction The first thing a student working on this project should understand is that some of the worlds most fascinating stories and myths are surprisingly similar
despite the thousands of miles and years between lands and cultures. For example, ancient people watched the cosmic events of the sky and were certain they represented the battles
of good and evil. They saw an evil monster battling with a god of light when they saw a comet "writhing" across the heavens. There are descriptions of Marduk and
Tiamat the dragon in Babylonian myth, Isis and Seth in Egyptian mythology, or Vishnu and the serpent and Krishna and serpent in Hindu teachings, or Ormuzd and Ahriman, and, of
course, Zeus and Typhon of ancient Greece. The student should understand that each follows a very similar pattern in terms of how the myth is laid out, although that
of the battle between Zeus and Typhon is the most well-delineated and graphically-portrayed of any of them. Zeus and Typhon Typhon is described as a horrible monster. The student
working on this project is certain to find that in many versions of the story of his battle with Zeus he is referred to as the most terrible monster ever.
