be the end. They speculated that the next terrorists would use biological, chemical or nuclear weapons against the United States. A short time later, it seems that Anthrax had cropped
up in the offices of news media agencies in Florida and New York. After that, a New Jersey post office realized that the infection was in its midst as well.
The media, along with the government, had informed people that Anthrax had been sent through the mail and so people are to be careful. Since the outbreak, many people
reportedly handle mail very carefully and throw out or report suspicious mail. They wash their hands after handling letters and some people even use rubber gloves. While these precautions may
seem reasonable to some, does it really help? If not, what can the people do to deal with the latest scare regarding biological terrorism? First, it is important to know
exactly what Anthrax is before exploring ways to live with it. Anthrax is actually a bacterium that is usually found in the wild or in domestic herbivores like cattle, sheep,
or goats (Pinkal PG). Professor Norman Pace explains that anthrax forms a bacterial endospore, and this is actually a protective coating as well as a hardy resting state for
the bacteria (PG). Anthrax organisms forms on one of the spores and when the spores are presented in the right environment for growth, it turns into a bacterium (PG). The
