of the worlds cultures. We are assured by our religious teachings, in particular, that life on earth is only the beginning of our existence. For those that do
good in life the most common promise found in religion is an afterlife in heaven, a spiritual place in which we encounter God and other spiritual beings whose goodness has
prevailed on earth. For those that have done bad things on earth there is a religious promise of an afterlife as well but this afterlife is in Hell, a
place where we are punished for our bad deeds. Although the specifics of an afterlife vary among religions it is a common promise. We often ask ourselves, however,
just how feasible is that promise? Is the promise of life after death logical? Could it really be a possibility? To answer these questions we must turn
toward our intellect and our capability to weigh out information to discern the truth. Through a logical analysis of the facts we can once and for all prove the
existence of an afterlife. Logical proof of an afterlife involves the distillation of the issues down to fundamental postulates. When this stage
in our analysis has been reached it becomes impossible to further simplify the issue and we must make a personal validation of the postulates as they are presented. While
this validation can, of course, vary between people, it is the only manner possible of logically analyzing and deciding on the possibilities of an afterlife. The postulates in the
