not want to carry the baby to term. The reasons vary. For example, she may have been raped or the baby is a result of an incestuous relationship. More likely
than not, the woman is young and na?ve and was not careful with birth control. Whatever the reason, there are people on both sides of the fence. Some believe that
abortion is immoral due to the fact that a human life is being extinguished. Those on the other side of the fence are just as adamant about the womens right
to have an abortion as she should have the right to do what she wants with her body. And yet, many people fall in between the extremes. They realize that
abortion is something that most women see as a last resort. No one wants to go through it. Yet, there are good arguments to have one in certain circumstances. While
abortion is a medical procedure that contains some risks, it is one that many people choose when they find they are pregnant. Still, the risk involved in the abortion is
in and of itself a reason to suggest that it should be put off. Women use abortion-because it is safe and inexpensive-as a form of birth control. For even the
most fervent supporter of abortion, this is a wrong course of action. Hence, legal abortion encourages women to forgo birth control. There are in fact too many abortions, and most
people agree with that. No medical procedure should be encouraged. The fact that people do not take proper care to avoid abortion is a case against it. If there were
